CESI has been selected by the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company EEHC as Technical Advisor for the Project “Grid Digitalization and innovation Hub and Establishment of the National energy distribution supervisory system”.
The project will help EEHC, who is coordinating the Egyptian power distribution sector serving more than 42M customers, implementing a digitalization plan to tackle losses reduction, increasing network reliability, and increasing energy efficiency through distribution network modernization.
The project is funded by the German Development Agency KfW.
Andrea Meola, Global Markets Director CESI Consulting, and representing CESI at the signing ceremony in Cairo comments “we are honored to have been selected as Technical Advisor to EEHC for this challenging mandate. Our work will help Egypt implementing both the Egyptian Grid Digitalization and Innovation Hub and the National Energy Distribution Supervisory Center, which are strategic facilities to support the progressive grid modernization effort of the country.”
To implement the project the International team of CESI will closely collaborate with our local partners Shaker Consulting and 3MS, which will play a pivotal role in securing the appropriate alignments with the local requirements and stakeholders’ engagement.
