CESI joins ACEF 2026 in Manila
06 . Jul . 2026

CESI took part in the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2026, at the Asian Development Bank Headquarters in Manila, one of the key international gatherings dedicated to the clean energy transition in Asia and the Pacific.

As part of the Forum, CESI actively contributed to the pre-forum session “European Examples of How Digitalization Can Support Energy Connectivity and Integration”, which brought together European companies and energy experts to explore how digital technologies can help build more secure, resilient, inclusive and intelligent energy systems.

During the session, CESI presented its expertise on Wide Area Monitoring Systems – WAMS, highlighting how synchronized real-time measurements, advanced analytics and control room applications can support the operation of today’s increasingly interconnected power systems.

As power grids become more complex and dynamic, traditional monitoring systems are no longer sufficient to fully capture the behaviour of cross-border electricity networks. WAMS enables wide-area visibility across geographically distributed areas, helping operators improve system awareness and decision-making.

In particular, CESI illustrated how WAMS can contribute to the secure monitoring of cross-border power flows, support the integration of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, and improve grid efficiency through applications including dynamic line rating and advanced state estimation. By providing a unified system view, these technologies also enable more coordinated control strategies across multiple regions.

CESI’s participation in ACEF 2026 confirms the Group’s commitment to supporting the global energy transition through advanced technical expertise, digital innovation and solutions designed to strengthen the reliability, resilience and integration of power systems.
