KEMA Labs Leads the Way at Transelectrica Workshop in Romania

On October 8th, KEMA Labs took center stage during a dedicated technical workshop hosted by TSO Transelectrica in Romania. The event brought together more than 50 professionals from engineering, standards, and project departments for a full day of knowledge sharing and technical exchange.

The workshop opened with a compelling session on “The Importance of Independent Testing and Certification,” offering valuable insights into failure statistics and industry trends. This was followed by three focused technical sessions covering Power Transformers, High Voltage Cables, and Circuit Breakers—with a spotlight on innovative non-SF₆ technologies.

The program was led by Bas Verhoeven, René Bruil, and Olaf van den Berg, whose expertise and enthusiasm sparked engaging discussions and meaningful connections throughout the day.
