CESI recently coordinated a technical visit to Italy for an Omani delegation as part of an international knowledge exchange initiative focused on power distribution systems.
The visit was designed to foster dialogue and the exchange of operational experience between professionals working in different regulatory and market contexts. The delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer of NEDC, Oman’s national electricity distribution company, together with members of the executive team.
Throughout the visit, CESI accompanied the delegation to several key Italian players in the electricity distribution sector, creating opportunities for in-depth discussion on network management, innovation, and best practices along the entire distribution value chain.
By facilitating meetings and technical exchanges, CESI supported a structured comparison on current challenges and future developments in power distribution, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for international cooperation, knowledge sharing, and cross-country experience exchange in the energy sector.
Initiatives such as this reflect CESI’s commitment to supporting utilities worldwide not only through testing and consultancy services, but also by actively promoting dialogue and collaboration at an international level.
