PAC World 2025 concluded yesterday in Glasgow, marking the end of a vibrant week dedicated to the latest developments in protection, automation, and control systems. Held at the University of Strathclyde, the event brought together experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to explore the future of digital substations and smart grid technologies.
KEMA Labs, part of CESI Group, was proud to be part of this international forum. Our experts – Michele Savona, Riccardo Maria Seresini, Fabio Romano, and Mihai Bivolaru – actively contributed through technical discussions, presentations, and networking activities.
One of the highlights of our participation was the joint presentation of the paper “Advanced Testing of Merging Units: Ensuring Reliability and Interoperability in Digital Substations”, developed in collaboration with Grid To Great. We thank them for the fruitful partnership and extend a special thanks to Raymond Woertman for his ongoing support.
PAC World continues to be a key event for exchanging insights, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation across the industry. We return from Glasgow with new ideas, valuable connections, and renewed energy for the challenges ahead.
Thank you to the PAC World community for another memorable edition!
