The award recognizes CESI’s role as a global leader in engineering and technical consulting for the energy sector, with more than 60 years of experience and a presence in 70 countries. Over the past 18 months, CESI has strengthened its strategic position in Europe, driving the energy transition through innovative solutions such as the supply of solar cells for satellites that contribute to global connectivity.
The jury highlighted CESI’s significant impact on decarbonization and the reliability of European energy infrastructures, together with its commitment to innovation and sustainable development. CESI has also been acknowledged as one of the best employers, with a strong focus on valuing people’s expertise and well-being.
The Mercurio Prize is awarded under the patronage of the Ambassador of Italy to Germany, in the presence of leading representatives of German and Italian business and public life. This recognition confirms CESI’s ability to combine technological excellence with a forward-looking vision, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in shaping Europe’s sustainable energy future.
