CESI at URC 2025: Rebuilding Ukraine’s Energy Future
14 . Jul . 2025

At the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2025, held in Rome on July 10–11 at the iconic “La Nuvola” venue, CESI brought its voice and vision to the table—among global leaders working to shape Ukraine’s future.

The conference gathered governments, international institutions, financial actors, and the private sector around four key goals: business growth, human capital, regional development, and European integration. In this setting, energy was a central theme—and CESI, with its long-standing experience in Ukraine, took a leading role.

During the B2B Networking Session, CESI President Guido Bortoni outlined a clear roadmap for rebuilding Ukraine’s power sector. He emphasized the urgency of restoring the grid through strategic investment planning, while modernizing it with digital tools and robust cybersecurity systems. At the same time, integrating renewables and storage is critical, alongside reinforcing resilience and emergency response capabilities

The day before, Andrea Meola, Global Markets & Business Development Director at CESI Consulting, joined the Side Event on Energy Solutions for Sustainable Regional Development. His intervention focused on how cross-border infrastructure and cooperation can become pillars of energy security in the region.

CESI’s contribution at URC 2025 underlined its commitment to supporting Ukraine’s transformation—not only with expertise, but with a long-term vision of a resilient, interconnected, and sustainable energy future.
