CESI took part in the 2025 edition of the RES4Africa Executive School, the Foundation’s flagship capacity-building programme, which concluded on 5 December in Milan. The initiative brought together 40 senior professionals from 18 African countries to strengthen leadership and technical skills in support of Africa’s renewable energy transition.
Held in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enel Foundation and the European Investment Bank (EIB), and in collaboration with SDA Bocconi and POLIMI Graduate School of Management, the two-week programme combined academic sessions with hands-on industry experience.
As part of the curriculum, participants visited CESI, where they explored key challenges and solutions related to the integration of variable renewable energy into power grids. CESI experts shared insights on grid stability, flexibility and system resilience, highlighting the role of advanced technical knowledge in enabling a secure and sustainable energy transition.
Through its contribution to the Executive School, CESI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of local expertise and future energy leaders, helping to build resilient power systems and foster sustainable growth across Africa.
