ACER signs a Framework Agreement with CESI

​The European Agency for the Cooperation of the Energy Regulators – ACER – has signed with the Consortium led by CESI SpA (in association with RAMBØLL Denmark AS) a framework agreement for the provision of technical assistance activities in the field of energy regulation .

The scope of the services under this Lot includes:
• Technical assistance with the implementation of measures aimed at improving the operation of the internal market in energy.
• Technical assistance for tasks related to electricity and gas investment and infrastructure projects, including technical assistance for the development of methodologies for cost-benefit analysis and for allocation of costs.
• Technical assistance for monitoring the implementation of electricity and gas investment and infrastructure projects in the EU countries and with benchmarking transmission planning national practices and transmission costs.
Maximum budget available for the assignments under lot 3 (technical assistance in the field of energy regulation) is 800 k€.

This prestigious assignment coming from a first level European body (after the Framework Agreement signed with the EIB – European Investment Bank), is a clear  acknowledgment of CESI’s outstanding position among the technical consulting firms.
