Decarbonized and interconnected: the future energy markets, the new CESI webinar, related to the last issue of our Energy Journal, will take place on February 15th (5:00pm – 6:00 pm, CET). Register, for free, at this link.
In the webinar, the discussion will focus on the changes that energy markets are undergoing both for the energy transition and the decarbonization process. During the event, the key speakers will discuss the changes that are underway in electric energy markets and address several issues concerning the electrification of power consumption (even in alternative sectors) as a driver for the definitive affirmation of renewables in the fight against climate change.
In this respect, Laura Cozzi (Chief Energy Modeller at IEA) and Anna Creti (Professor of Economics at the Paris Dauphine University, LeDA-CGEMP – Dauphine Economics Laboratory-Center for Geopolitics of Energy and Raw Materials) will give their opinions on the energy markets evolution, together with Guido Bortoni (CESI Chairman).
During the webinar, Laura Cozzi will focus on key global energy trends, the outcome of COP26 and the role of rare earth elements in shaping the energy market, in light of the ongoing energy transition. Anna Creti will, also, assess such topics, adding her thoughts and date at her disposal regarding price volatility and sustainable technologies that influence energy markets.
Ms. Cozzi and Professor Creti have also been interviewed in the latest issue of CESI Energy Journal.
