Connection requirements and key challenges to implement VRES into the grid

Indeed, in recent years we have witnessed the development of technical requirements to connect VRES to the transmission system, which is developing remarkably to suit the evolving needs of the power system as the share of such generation increases following the targets of energy and climate policies.
