CESI CEO SPEAKER AT MISSION INNOVATION

Rome, November 23, 2018 – CESI is attending the conference Mission Innovation, the global initiative of 23 countries and the European Union to dramatically accelerate global clean energy innovation, organized by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. CESI CEO Matteo Codazzi is attending the “Italian excellence on smart grids panel” as speaker with a speech on the functionality and interoperability for smart grids. Codazzi is exploring  new technologies applied to the energy sector, from digital networks and smart meters to electric mobility.
Overall, the conference is focusing on the progressive transformation of the energy systems thanks to digital innovation and the introduction in the generation mix of several countries of outstanding shares of renewable energy sources. The conference is attended by government reprentatives as Sen. Andrea Cioffi, Under Secretary at Minister of Economic development and Stefano Besseghini, President of Italian energy authority .
Furthermore, Domenico Villani, testing & Certification Director at CESI, attended yesterday the Round Table I: IC1 meeting Industry expectations. Also Alessandro Bertani, Smart Grids Director at CESI attended yesterday Mission Innovation, with a speech on CESI’s  most relevant experiences involving smart grids.​
