CESI will play an active role in the newly launched Youth and Energy Hub, an initiative promoted by Enel Foundation to engage the next generation in shaping the future of the energy sector. The project was officially presented in Rome during the event “Youth and Energy: Intergenerational Dialogues on the Future of Energy”, which brought together institutional leaders, energy experts, researchers and young professionals to discuss the key challenges of the energy transition.
The Hub aims to create a community of around 40 high-potential young professionals from institutions, international organizations, universities, research centers and industry, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and evidence-based contributions to public policy and industrial strategies. Its ambition is to support a sustainable, equitable and resilient energy transition while strengthening collaboration between generations.
Representing CESI in the initiative will be Silvia Di Matteo, Consultant at CESI Consulting, selected to contribute her expertise and join a network of emerging leaders working on energy and climate-related topics. Through training sessions, collaborative activities and knowledge-sharing initiatives, participants will help develop new perspectives on the evolving energy landscape.
Operational activities of the Hub are scheduled to begin after the summer break, marking the start of a collaborative journey aimed at translating scientific knowledge and innovative thinking into concrete contributions for the energy systems of tomorrow.
