05 . Jun . 2026

On May 25–26, CESI hosted a dedicated workshop at its Milan Headquarters as part of the ongoing Feasibility Study of the Green Energy Corridor project.

The event brought together international delegations from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Hungary, and Romania, along with representatives of Green Energy Corridor Power Company and CESI, for two days of technical and strategic discussions as the study enters its final phase.

Throughout the workshop, participants addressed key aspects of the project, including economic and cost-benefit analyses, technical assumptions and system integration, routing optimization, and potential business and financing models.

CESI contributed to the activities through a multidisciplinary team involving professionals from different areas of expertise, including power systems, environmental assessments, and infrastructure planning. This integrated approach was essential to address the complexity of the project and to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of technical, environmental, and economic aspects.

The Green Energy Corridor represents a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening cross-border energy cooperation and enabling the large-scale integration of renewable energy across regions. In this context, CESI’s ability to combine diverse competencies plays a key role in supporting stakeholders throughout the different phases of the project.

The workshop concluded with a shared alignment on next steps towards the completion of the Feasibility Study.
