CESI is at the forefront of promoting sustainable and circular projects through its expertise in environmental studies and consulting. Recently, its U.S. subsidiary Enernex was engaged by the Hawaiian Electric Company to develop a strategy for modernizing the energy network, aiming for 100% renewable energy by 2045.
Additionally, CESI is conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for Project EuroAsia, a 2000 MW HVDC submarine interconnector linking Israel, Cyprus, and Greece. This initiative will enhance the European Union’s access to renewable electricity.
In South America, CESI is working with Enel Generación Peru to address sediment challenges affecting hydro power plants. The company is also evaluating the feasibility of solar projects integrated with hydro power basins, leveraging its expertise in environmental sustainability.
With a rich legacy in civil and environmental monitoring, CESI safeguards cultural heritage sites, recently developing monitoring systems for the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral in Florence and other significant landmarks.
Through these initiatives, CESI is committed to fostering a greener, more sustainable future.
