Gianluca Marini, Executive Vice President of the Consulting Division at CESI, participated in the Renewable Energy Round Table, which was held on April 23 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Cairo. This panel was organized in conjunction with the visit of Adolfo Urso, the Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, to Egypt. The session provided an opportunity to delve into the prospects for renewable energy and to foster strategic international partnerships.
The discussion prominently featured Minister Urso and Mohamed Shaker, the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy. Among the most relevant sectors of industrial cooperation, renewable energy stood out, also considering the potential interconnections between Italy and Egypt, reflecting the growing strategic importance of cross-border energy collaboration. The round table included CESI, Ice, Sace, Cdp, Danieli, Prysmian, Terna, and Fondazione RES4Africa.
