Omani Energy Ministry Delegation visited CESI

On June 2023, a delegation from Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) and the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) visited CESI’s Milan headquarters. The visit aimed to enhance collaboration between Oman and CESI in strategic areas such as renewables, hydrogen, interconnections, electricity markets, storage, and smart grids .

Led by H.E. Mohsin Al Hadhrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, the Omani delegation included key representatives from MEM and APSR. CESI’s top executives, including CEO Domenico Villani and EVPs Gianluca Marini and Paolo Chighine, welcomed the delegation.

CESI delivered presentations on its Group and Consulting Division, highlighting ongoing projects in Oman and sharing expertise in renewables, hydrogen, interconnections, electricity markets, storage, and EVs. The delegation also visited CESI – KEMA Labs laboratories to explore advanced research and testing capabilities.

The visit concluded with farewell greetings, reinforcing the commitment to collaboration. The delegation expressed gratitude for CESI’s hospitality and knowledge sharing. The visit signifies a significant step towards closer partnership, supporting Oman’s energy goals and sustainable development.
