CESI awarded sustainability champion

CESI has been recognized as a sustainability champion by the Deutsches Institut für Qualität und Finanzen (German Institute for Quality and Finance) and its media partner Repubblica Affari & Finanza. This distinction was awarded in the latest edition of the ranking of Italian companies known as The Sustainability Champions 2023/2024, published by Repubblica Affari & Finanza, one of Italy’s prominent business newspapers.

This recognition is a significant accomplishment for CESI, a company that has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. It places CESI alongside renowned companies such as Ferrari, Coca Cola, Essilor Luxottica, Enel, Deloitte. Moreover, it serves as a steppingstone for CESI to continue its active role in the ongoing ecological transition.

The evaluation methodology primarily relied on a scoring model that incorporated direct feedback from survey participants, who provided their assessments as anonymous respondents. The survey, which collected opinions from 10,671 employees working in Italian companies with at least 300 employees, encompassed 17 different criteria related to the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of the organizations. While the survey results hold substantial value, it is important to note that they are not the sole determinant of a company’s sustainable characteristics. The absence of a company in this ranking does not imply a lack of sustainability. In 2020, the company was already honored with the Digital Star award in the field of Raw Materials & Energy.
