KEMA Labs expert awarded at 2022 CIGRE Technical Exhibition

René Smeets (Innovation Engineer at KEMA Labs ) received the prestigious CIGRE Fellow Member Award because of the leadership shown in innovative T&D equipment related working groups such as those on HVDC switchgear , high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers and SF6-free switchgear .

The CIGRE Fellow Award, which is attributed for providing a lead technical role in the study committees, was presented by Michel Augonet, President of CIGRE , at the opening session of the CIGRE conference in Paris, at the grand Amphitheatre, attended by over 1,000 delegates .

The ceremony represented another successful moment of our participation to the 2022 CIGRE Technical Exhibition , in which the KEMA Labs experts met several customers and presented our latest innovative services.
