CESI Consulting Division EVP appointed in the RES4Africa Executive Committee

Today, July 2^nd, the CESI Consulting Division Executive Vice President, Gianluca Marini, has been appointed as a new member of the Executive Committee of RES4Africa Foundation.

Res4Africa Foundation is a private, member-driven organization with the aim to contribute to paving the road towards a prosperous Africa, grounded on the use of renewable energy sources to power African economies’ rise, enabling the continent to achieve its full, resilient and inclusive sustainable development. The role of CESI as a member is to bring to the initiative its vast knowledge of Power Systems worldwide and to provide in-depth analysis and detailed studies.

The appointment of Gianluca Marini is the latest step in the proficient partnership between CESI and RES4Africa, which has been comprised of several initiatives throughout the years, aimed at promoting the deployment of renewable energy in Africa. “CESI has been proudly supporting RES4Africa Foundation for almost 10 years now, and it is a great pleasure and honor for me to sit in its prestigious Executive Committee,” said the Consulting Division EVP. “I am eager to continue to sustain the ambitious future growth of the foundation and leverage on CESI’s strong competences to add as much value as we can to the many strategic programs we are involved in,” he concluded.

Following the last general meeting, RES4Africa has appointed the new members of the Foundation’s Executive Committee. Together with Gianluca Marini, Salvatore Bernabei, President of RES4Africa and CEO of Enel Green Power, Mario Pedretti of Prysmian and Giovanni Poggio of PwC, have also been appointed Duarte Belo of EDP Renewables, Gianluca Cassuolo of RINA Consulting, Guido Guida of Terna, Caspar Herzberg of Schneider Electric, Pedro Huarte Mendicoa Tato of VESTAS, Bali Kochar of Intesa Sanpaolo and Jean Pierre Sanchez of Siemens Gamesa.
