Today at 6pm (CEST), Aspen Institute Italia, in partnership with CESI, presents “Energy in the post-COVID transition, between geopolitics and growth”, a webinar featuring some of the most prominent figures in the energy sector.
The CESI Group CEO, Matteo Codazzi, is taking part in the event, in order to discuss what new technologies and innovations could drive forward the roadmap towards a carbon-free economy, with a particular focus on solutions to cut down CO2 emissions and to reduce dependency on critical raw materials.
Together with Matteo Codazzi, the webinar will also see the participation of Marco Alverà (CEO, Snam), Laura Cozzi (Chief Energy Modeller, IEA), Francesco La Camera (Director-General, IRENA), John C. Hulsman (President and Co-Founder, John C. Hulsman Enterprises), David Livingston (Senior Advisor on Climate Change, US Department of State). In addition, the event will be introduced by Giulio Tremonti (President of Aspen Institute Italia and former Italian Minister of the Economy) and will be concluded by Vincenzo Amendola (State Secretary for European Affairs in the Italian Government).
In the webinar, the discussion will focus on how global strategies to achieve 100% carbon-free human activities by 2050 are being implemented by country and region: during the event, the protagonists of the sector will assess how such strategies are paramount to boast the economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to suggest the best and most-effective solutions.
