CESI MONITORS THE HOLY SHROUD

The Holy Shroud’s Chapel has won the European Heritage Awards.  CESI is monitoring the site to safeguard it.

Milan, June 3, 2019 – The Chapel of the Holy Shroud has been recently announced to be one of the winners of the European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra 2019, a prize that celebrates all the sites that distinguish themselves for their conservation, research, education and sensitization activities.
In this respect, in the last years CESI collaborated with the Royal Museums of Turin to restore the structural monitoring system of the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, also offering maintenance services.
The award ceremony will be held in Paris on October 29, in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron.
