CESI OBTAINED THE AEO AUTHORIZATION

​Milan, 13/03/2018 – Cesi obtained the AEO Authorization (Authorized Economic Operator), released by the Italian Customs Authority. The Authorization is conferred only to companies able to demonstrate reliability and safety in their import/export activities. This authorization guarantees a greater control on shipping and can be obtained only after several meticulous audits on: the company’s economic and financial situation, its recruitment policies and safety procedures, the appropriateness of its IT system and the efficiency of its import/export management system.  On top of that, the selected company must be compliant with customs legislation and taxation rules, does not have any criminal offences related to the economic activity and finally it must be financially  solvent. The AEO Authorization ensures different benefits: fewer material and document-based controls, the reduction of waiting times  and the recognition as  reliable business partner.
