Rome, October 24, 2018 – CESI will attend tomorrow the special one-day workshop “Africa’s renewable energy transition: What does it take?”, organized by the IEA Renewable Industry Advisory Board in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Res4Med. The workshop will focus on necessary strategies and measures to accelerate renewable energy deployment in the African continent. The event will aim to present a status update on the continent’s market developments, addressing the issues of energy access through decentralized solutions and the quality of supply in grid-connected systems .
CESI CEO Matteo Codazzi will focus his speech on the best way to improve the quality of electricity supply in African sub-urban and peri-urban areas.
The event will take place at the Farnesina Palace in Rome, Italian Minister of the foreign Affairs, gathering high-level participants from industry, financial sector and governments.
