CESI MANAGER WINS THE EDISON AWARD

​Vladivostok  October 9, 2017  – Uberto Vercellotti,  Market & Product Development Manager of testing & Certification Division at CESI, has won the Thomas A. Edison Award in Vladivostok. The award was given by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), that paid tribute to the work of seven leaders of the IEC family who have contributed to making products and electrical systems safer and more efficient. Vercellotti has been awarded because “with his cooperative and consensus oriented leadership style he helped create a widespread awareness and recognition for the safety topic of fire hazard testing”, with the aim of preventing ignition caused by electrically energized components and confining fires within the bounds of the enclosure. As a matter of fact, fire safety is a concern in every geographical region. Vercellotti increased efficiency, quality and speed of work and encouraged the participation of young talents and supported participation of new countries and emerging economies .
