Real-time Lightning Detection Workshop

A one day workshop was organized by CESI about lightning detection technologies and real-time lightning monitoring advantages to the energy, industry and meteorological sectors.
Scientific and technical presentations from different Countries gave a unique opportunity to get a survey of lightning monitoring techniques and applications to all the participants.
The workshop was co- organised by Vaisala, leader in the lightning sensor market and one of the worldwide provider of weather instruments .
This workshop confirms the deep involvement of CESI in the lightning detection and protection fields, as well as of the Italian lightning detection network- SIRF as an international reference asset for lightning detection in Italy.
