CESI at the 2nd Annual Solar Arabia Summit

​ CESI is pleased to announce the participation to the 2nd Annual solar Arabia Summit, which will be held in Riyadh in the period 16-17 September 2012. The Summit is bringing together up to 250 high profile representatives from public and private entities, including key policy makers, Government officials and prospective investors involved in shaping Saudi Arabia’s National Energy Plan, giving also exclusive networking opportunities.

The Government of the Kingdom aims to generate 41 GW of solar energy generating capacity by 2030, following a US$ 109 billion spending drive in solar energy resources to end its dependence on oil.
The strategically designed conference agenda will focus on Saudi Arabia’s solar energy vision as well as how international project developers and solution providers can meet the local demand.

CESI has 30 years’ experience in R&D and production of high efficiency MJ solar cells for space applications being one of the top four worldwide suppliers with more than 60 satellites in orbit. In the last 5 years CESI has also produced terrestrial MJ cells which were extensively tested in pilots, meeting the requirements of the CPV systems.

Our consultancy competence is permeating the area since, early this year, we undertook a feasibility study to determine the best options for electrical and gas interconnections scenario devoted to create a single energy market for 20 Arab Countries by 2030.
