At COP29, CESI advanced its global vision for green energy collaboration through a series of strategic one-on-one meetings. CEO Nicola Melchiotti met with Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Pakistan’s Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik, where CESI’s active role in green energy transitions was a central focus. Key discussions included the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor project, a landmark initiative aimed at facilitating renewable energy flow from Central Asia to Europe.
CESI’s consulting expertise in the Green Energy Development and Transmission Project was also highlighted, with its ongoing feasibility study assessing critical infrastructure and financing needs to ensure a reliable renewable energy supply along this corridor.
Melchiotti continued CESI’s engagements with further discussions alongside Levan Davitashvili, Georgia’s First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development; Sebastian-Ioan Burduja, Romania’s Minister of Energy; and Vladimir Malinov, Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy, exploring opportunities for energy development in the region.
