Rationalising HV grid "Alto Bellunese" cable – environmental permitting, environmental impact assessment, landscape report, suitability assessment, archaeological report, for Terna Rete Italia.
Terna Rete Italia asked CESI to help it with the environmental impact assessment for the upgrade of the HV electricity grid in Alto Bellunese. The project aimed to modernise the electricity grid in the province of Belluno and make it more efficient and secure in order to meet future challenges such as the 2021 Ski World Cup and the increasing use of electric vehicles. The project consisted of an installation of a 25km underground 132kV cable to connect the municipalities of Auronzo and Cortina d’Ampezzo, and a 1.5ha 132/220kV electrical substation in the Cima Gogna industrial area. CESI is involved in the environmental permitting, environmental impact assessment, landscape report, HRA appropriate assessment and archaeological report.
