Team and location
As an engineer Operational Technology, you will be deeply involved and responsible for the (safety) control systems of the High-Power Laboratory (HPL). You provide technical solutions for improvement of the (safety) control systems of the test laboratories and test facilities and will initiate/participate in projects for the development and/or redesign of the installation.
You will carry out your work in close collaboration with the colleagues in various labs, supporting them with your knowledge and experience. You work from the Arnhem office but will have global responsibilities including occasional travelling.
Job description
- Assure together with the Asset Management Team that the availability of the equipment for testing activities is guaranteed as much as possible
- Drive improvements in processes and development of test equipment based on the needs for the laboratories
- Analyze and manage root causes of failures and find sustainable solutions
- Engineering/maintaining software/hardware for PLC (safety) controllers (Siemens S7 Safety)
- Step 7/Tia Portal
- Engineering/maintaining HMI software (Siemens WinCC)
- Engineering/maintaining Siprotec software (Siemens Digsi)
- Second line service for installation & applications in the HPL
- Engineering technical solutions for the laboratory
- Improve installation & applications
- Engineering technical solutions for the laboratory
- Assist and steer 3rd party engineers.
What Cesi is looking for
- Degree in electrical engineering (Batchelor +) or comparable intellectual and professional level
- Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC’s, SCADA systems); (Siemens Step-7 & WinCC is a Pre)
- At least 5 years of experience with industrial automation
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player
- Takes ownership
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbally
- Proficiency of Dutch and English
