The objective of this study was the analysis of the impact of a new Wind Farm (WF) into the power generation and transmission grid of Moroccan TSO (ONE-Office National de l’Electricité).
What we have done
At first, a static analysis has been performed in order to evaluate the impact into the Moroccan network of the future Wind Farm (WF). Some scenarios have been analyzed and the outcomes emerged were different in terms of load (peak and offpeak) and hypothesis of connection of the new WF. Then, it has been investigated the response of the grid at the power fluctuations caused by the wind aleatority in way to verify how the WF impact on the Southern Moroccan grid in N-condition. It has been also investigated the effect of the wind aleatority in case of no voltage regulation performed by the wind farm.
