Electrodynamic testing plants
Electrodynamic tests require the availability of considerable space in order to reproduce the dimension of the plant in which the equipment under test will eventually be installed.
CESI has a plant divided into four distinct areas for:
Electrodynamic tests on HV disconnectors
Power arc tests on insulator strings
Electrodynamic tests on power transformers
Arcing due to internal fault on MV switchgear.
The plant is supplied by the 220 kV network through six short-circuit transformers with the following characteristics:

| Max Power |
