Life Cycle management of electrical components
Electrical components are the backbone of each (public or industrial) electric power production, transport or distribution system.
The reliability of the components has an important effect on electrical system availability that, in turn, is strictly related to the procedures with which the components are specified, selected, installed and managed in service.
In over forty years of activity, CESI has acquired extensive experience on the behavior of components subjected to different types of stress and in the selection and management of electrical components in their plants.
By using this know-how and the previous technical structures, CESI developed various services designed to assist users in optimizing management of electrical components throughout their service life.
In particular, the following user assistance services were developed relative to that portion of the service life for which it has greatest responsibility:
The services, listed here below, apply to the main electrical components concerning power stations, substations and lines, from EHV transmission to MV and LV distribution.
|
Review of electrical component design and installation;
Electrical component commissioning tests
Assessment of electrical component conditions;
Electrical component failure analysis.
