Environment

For CESI the prevention of pollution, the minimization of environmental impacts of its activities and the compliance with applicable legal requirements is a rule. The Company has implemented, documented and continually improved a Management System, ensuring the availability of resources, the needed training, the planning of operations and controls associated with significant environmental aspects.
CESI Environmental Management System is certified according to the standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2004.

 

Health and Safety

For CESI, the safeguard of health and psychophysical integrity of its employees and of all people working under its responsibility is a strategic value. Consequently, the Company has adopted an intensive and continuous activity of training and sensitization, has defined common and homogeneous standards for all areas of activities and has taken technological and structural actions. The Health and Safety Management System of CESI is certified according to the standard BS OHSAS 18001:2007.

 

Quality

CESI carries out a politic of Quality aimed to the achievement of objectives of excellence for its products and services, to meet the expectations of its clients and stakeholders. The Quality Management System is based on the following fundamental principles.

  • Personnel involvement
  • Continuous improvement 
  • Relationships of mutual benefit with suppliers 
  • CESI Quality Management System is certified according to the Standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2008

     

    Policy declaration for quality, health & safety and environment

    CESI is a company that bases its activities on continuous dialogue with its Stakeholders: Customers, Employees, Shareholders, Financial Communities, Trade Unions, Institutions, Communities, Suppliers and Business partners, that is, everyone that could influence or could be influenced by its activities, products, services and performance results.
    In order to better answer to requirements and expectations of its stakeholders, all the aspects related to Quality, Health & Safety and Environment have been integrated into the CESI Management System.
    The CESI Management System complains and has been certified to the international Standard ISO 9001, BS OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and it has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17020 e ISO/IEC 17025.

    To achieve the above mentioned objectives, CESI adopts the following strategy:

  • Establishing and maintaining a transparent partnership relationship with its stakeholders, based on the principles of honesty, nondiscrimination and respect stated in its Code of Ethics, an integral part of the Organization and Management Model (D.Lgs. 231/01)
  • Ensuring the quality of the products and services offered, granting and satisfying the Customer's needs through continuously improving the efficacy and efficiency of the process
  • Respecting the Legislation on Safety at Work; neither implement nor encourage the use of coercive practices or physical and psychological violence and prohibit any form of discrimination
  • Ensuring the growth of its employees skills including the use of focused methodologies and continuous exchange of knowledge
  • Ensuring an appropriate service level expectations of our customers, ensuring also that the personnel involved in testing has acquainted with quality documentation for their work to implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Standards and mandatory requirements
  • Ensuring resources availability, training, planning and operations related to the quality of products and services, to health & safety at work and environment protection
  • Ensuring health & safety at work for all workers involved in its processes, not only its own staff, but also customers’/contractors’/suppliers’/visitors’ one
  • Ensuring evaluation and monitoring of all the risks, doing actions to reduce risks and occupational diseases or accidents at work
  • Sharing health & safety targets with its own workers for continuous improvement of working conditions
  • Issuing environmental protection objectives, monitoring the compliance and performance of its activities, in order to achieve continuous improvement
  • Reducing environmental impact and the climate change through a responsible management of resources
  • Asking partners and suppliers to reduce their own environmental impact
